Our Heart

Membership is about more than attending church meetings. Members who enter into a covenant with us are called to a higher degree of responsibility, service and sacrifice. By becoming a Covenant Member you are committing to be part of a spiritual family that will provide support and encouragement in your walk with Christ. Our Ministers and leadership pledge to assist our Covenant Members first and foremost, by providing care and counsel as well as pray, teach and guide as necessary. It is also a necessary step before working in any of our ministerial offices.

We trust that as the Lord leads, you will take the following steps by covenanting with us to be part of The FCC family

Covenant Membership at FCC is a Three Step Process

1. Attend the Covenant Membership Class

We hold membership in high regard and want our guests and those who regularly attend to make an informed decision about joining our church. By providing a class we are able to cover the essentials of what it means to be a Covenant Member, our basic beliefs, our distinctives and what you should expect from the Ministers and leaders. You will meet our staff and leaders and learn how to get connected into the various ministries of FCC.

The class takes place on Tuesdays (6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) once a quarter.   However, due to space constraints the class is open to a limited number of participants so we encourage you to register early.

Prior to attending the class we invite you to learn more about FCC's beliefs by visiting our "What we believe"  page.

The upcoming membership class dates are as follows February 22nd, May 24th, Aug. 23rd and November 8th

2. Baptism at FCC

For many, baptism is the first public step of obedience to Christ. If you have not been baptized following your salvation, we ask you to take this step before becoming a Covenant Member. Before your baptism, we offer a mini-class designed to answer questions concerning this ordinance. The Baptism Class gives you an opportunity to fully understand baptism and walk through frequently asked questions and logistical details of the baptism service.

3. Signing the Covenant

The final step in becoming a Covenant Member is to meet with our Minister of Assimiliation to sign the covenant. We will explain the covenant, listen to your story and answer any questions you might have about FCC and about becoming a Covenant Member or both. Once you have signed the covenant and fulfilled the other requirements of baptism and attending the class, you will be considered a Covenant Member of FCC.

We trust that you will seek God and His plan for your life in regards to becoming a Covenant Member of FCC.
